Sadie Mae as Bird Dog

OK, let's see if I can remember how to post a picture. Sadie Mae came running up to Dick to show him a bird feather she'd found that was nearly as big as she is. Of course, he ran for his camera.

She's showing a lot of her Yorkie DNA ... likes to dig little holes in the gravel driveway, runs in huge swooping FAST circles either out on the lawn or indoors through the house...looks over her shoulder to see if you are closing in on her, then HOPS like a bunny and runs up the driveway.

Winchester, our full-grown chocolate Lab, is alternately protective of her and bothered by her puppy behavior. They snuggle together when the energy abates and sleep soundly. He surrenders his chewbone to her when he could easily win that competition. Again, with her Yorkie nature, she'll often drag one of his toys underneath a low chair where he can't follow after. He actually tolerates her putting her teeth to his jowls or neck or even his lip, and hanging there! We stop her, pulling her away as she emits tiny little growls because we're interrupting her "fun!"

When does the Bichon DNA kick in?

Marion: I love Sadie. We're down to one dog, but need a second as the pack is incomplete.
Where did you find Sadie's mix?
